Qualifications

• Active National Certification and Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Technician licensure.
• ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Program graduate; Associates degree or 2 years experience.
• Completion of ACPE Board Certified Sterile Compound Aseptic Tech program.
• I.V. Room training certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Compounds hazardous and non-hazardous IV admixtures.
• Assist in IV room training and aseptic techniques.
• Support pharmacists with department workflow and policies.
• Procure, prepare, deliver, return, and restock IV medications and supplies.
