Job summary

Mercy Clinic Springfield - Vascular Surgery seeks an Advanced IR Special Procedures Technologist to perform fluoroscopy and interventional procedures with patient-centered care.

You will operate specialized equipment, ensure safety, and support complex cases while training colleagues and contributing to a collaborative care environment. Eligible candidates have ARRT(R) or RCIS, BLS, and state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• RCIS training certification completed.
• 2 years of relevant experience in imaging/procedures.
• ARRT(R) or RCIS certification and BLS required.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology.
• Operate specialized imaging equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Provide critical support during complex procedures and assist teams.
• Serve as resource and trainer for colleagues and staff.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and quality measures.
