Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for the Vascular Lab. The role supports imaging during interventional procedures, patient positioning, and coordination with radiologists and surgeons in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must have attended an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered.
• Ability to work with a variety of age groups and provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients for accurate imaging with minimal radiation.
• Perform radiographic DSA/DA images and transmit to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Assist in complex interventional procedures with radiologists and surgeons.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile technique for procedures.
• Promote patient safety and report issues per department policy.
• Support leadership development and education of students.
