Qualifications

• 5 years minimum of experience performing similar molding responsibilities.
• LSR/Medical Molding Experience preferred.
• Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods.
• Knowledge of injection molding machinery, control systems (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Advanced knowledge of auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots).
• Mold set up and use of standard tools and methods.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic core pull systems/safety limit switch and sequence.
• Advanced knowledge of Hot Runner / Valve gate systems.
• Advanced understanding of blue prints of part drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically word and excel

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, and monitor injection molds and related equipment.
• Improve cycle times and optimize machines.
• Program robots.
• Create maintenance work orders for auxiliary equipment.
• Document manufacturing activities in the ERP system
