Job summary

Freudenberg Household Products LP (USA) is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to set up and start production molds, support daily operations, and maintain equipment reliability on a 12‑hour day shift. You will work with robots and automation, ensure quality specs are met, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

The role requires at least 3 years in injection molding, familiarity with EOAT systems, and basic electrical/mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in injection molding processing.
• Experience with setup and startup of molds and other related equipment (robots, automation, auxiliary equipment).
• EOAT robot programming and setup.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and fluid power.
• Basic operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to follow instructions; communicate technical problems clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and shutdown of production molds and complete mold changes with equipment.
• Safely operate forklift and overhead cranes for handling molds.
• Verify correct mold and materials are used.
• Perform in-press mold cleaning as needed.
• Ensure processes run consistently and provide production support.
• Ensure product specs are met with quality and engineering teams.
• Log and communicate process changes; keep parameters up to date.
• Maintain 6S principles including SMED.
