Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to bring advanced technical expertise to a collaborative, diverse team. You will focus on keeping plant operations safe, reliable, and running at peak performance, driving operational excellence daily.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting complex machinery, and improving equipment reliability while pursuing on-the-job learning and additional certifications. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-8 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification.
• Demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure production efficiency.
• Provide operators with support around machine reliability; collaborate with production associates and other technicians.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner and report abnormal conditions.
• Follow all safety and quality protocols to exceed standards.
