ATS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a factory setting. You will identify root causes, dismantle devices, and repair or replace defective parts while testing performance and ensuring safety compliance.

You will also source parts, operate machining equipment as needed, and participate in CI activities. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently are essential, with some travel required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
• May be required to travel.

Responsabilités

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate root cause, dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, repairing and testing.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Sets up and operates multiple machining operations including lathe, drill press, grinder; may perform welding tasks.
• Cleans, 5S and maintains housekeeping.
• Drives and participates in CI activities - processes, results and cost savings.
• Updates records and CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Uses predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
• Mentors lower level technicians; participates in training and development.
• Completes on-the-job and technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follows safety policies and identifies unsafe conditions.
