Job summary

Vail Resorts in California is seeking winter seasonal Housekeepers to keep guest units and common areas pristine, meeting brand standards and delivering a premium guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours while bending and lifting.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivating, and strong communicator, both written & verbal.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, versatile, and responsive to housekeeping responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest units, offices, and common areas at the property ensuring adherence to quality, health, and safety standards.
• Replenish amenities in guest units, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain inventory and organization of housekeeping supplies in the cart and storage closet.
• Report any lost and found items, damage, safety concerns, maintenance needs, accidents, or injuries to management.
• Train, monitor, and delegate tasks to new employees ensuring adherence to policy and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests, teammates, and management; respond to requests promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range is$22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
