Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Advanced Heart Failure Specialty Unit. The unit provides high acuity cardiac care, including LVADs and transplant support.

New Graduate Nurses are welcome to apply. The role emphasizes nursing process, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a 24-bed unit and a comprehensive residency program.

Competenze

• Associates Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• BSN or MSN (Preferred)
• Virginia RN License Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible.
• All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire

Mansioni

• Perform nursing care using the nursing process as the standard of practice.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, coordinate care and health promotion.
• Provide high-acuity cardiac care in the Advanced Heart Failure Unit.
