Job summary

Texscapes Services seeks a Grounds Person 2 to join our tree care team in Texas. You will support climbers and crew leaders, set up and clean up job sites, and help maintain equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and efficient teamwork.

The role requires basic math and physical stamina to perform arboricultural tasks, operate ground equipment, and communicate hazards clearly. We value reliability and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with arboricultural field operations.
• Ability to operate equipment such as chippers, trucks and blowers.
• Proficiency with chainsaws for limb cutting, bucking and felling.
• Ability to use hand tools like a pole saw from the ground.
• Adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a tree crew with Grounds workers, Climbers, and Crew Leaders.
• Assist with jobsite setup and cleanup.
• Perform daily equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Support other team members in tree care activities.
• Ensure operations, job sites, and the public remain safe.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and the public.
