Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Fuel Injection System Design & Release Engineer to advance core engine fuel injection components and guide changes from concept to release. You will coordinate with CAE groups to optimize designs and ensure reliability targets through DFMEA and DVP&R.

The role involves APQP planning, prototype parts ordering, DV/PV testing, and involvement in product launches across engine and vehicle testing while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in fuel injection design and release.
• Experience with CAD, CAE, CFD, FEA, and GD&T.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop fuel injection components and manage changes.
• Collaborate with CAE groups to optimize designs and assess risks with DFMEA.
• Lead source packaging, APQP meetings, and DV/PV testing.
• Support product launch across engine and vehicle testing.
