The role emphasizes coding in C/C++/Fortran, expertise with ANSYS, Abaqus, OpenFOAM and related tools, and a commitment to advancing simulation workflows within R&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics with emphasis on applied mechanics.
• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Ability to write and debug code in C/C++/Fortran.
• Experience with FEA/CFD tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, OpenFOAM or CalculiX.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on boundary conditions, material properties, and CAD geometry for simulations.
• Adjust meshing, boundary conditions and solver settings to balance accuracy and convergence time.
• Perform FEA to understand product and process performance during development.
• Validate models with real-world experiments and document results.
• Lead discussions on simulation outcomes and future work ideas.
• Develop and improve simulation techniques and automation of workflows.
