Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Fab Mechanic III in Twin Falls, ID to support fabrication, assembly, and installation for the maintenance department. You will fabricate and repair metal structures and process piping, align parts, and assist with equipment modifications to improve plant efficiency.

The role requires welding and fabrication skills, English communication, and basic math; safety certifications and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are part of the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent certification preferred.
• 1 year related experience in fabrication and welding required.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions, both written and oral.
• Lock-out/Tag-out certification required or training provided to meet it.
• Basic math and computer skills (MS Office) needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal structures and process piping; assemble equipment from raw materials.
• Make modifications and perform upkeep on existing equipment.
• Assist with line designs and comment on proposed changes and equipment.
• Perform basic welding and fabricating duties; repair and move equipment in plant.
