Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant dental assisting experience.
• BLS-CPR certification required.
• Dental Radiology License in Indiana required.
• EFDA certification or 5+ years on-the-job experience in Dental Assisting.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist/hygienist and perform expanded functions.
• Place restorations and fit bands/brackets/appliances.
• Obtain diagnostic dental x-rays using safe radiology process.
• Prepare and organize instruments, supplies and maintain aseptic processing.
• Schedule patient visits and handle patient correspondence.
• Precept and mentor professional skills and behaviors.
