Job summary

Intercare Recruitment seeks Gastroenterology Hospitalists with advanced ERCP experience to join a large regional health system in Augusta, Georgia.

The role features a 7 on/7 off schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM, no overnight call, and a collaborative inpatient GI hospitalist model with APP support and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Advanced ERCP experience required.
• Ability to manage inpatient consults in a hospitalist model.
• J-1 waiver eligibility may be available.

Responsibilities

• Manage 5–8 inpatient consults per day.
• Perform 3–5 colonoscopies and 1–2 advanced GI procedures.
• Collaborate with APPs and hospital teams in an inpatient GI hospitalist setting.
• Provide care within a dedicated inpatient GI hospitalist model.

A large regional health system in Augusta, Georgia is seeking Gastroenterology Hospitalists with advanced ERCP experience to join a highly collaborative inpatient GI team.

This position offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule, strong procedural volume, and excellent hospital support in a physician-led environment.

Position Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM)
• No overnight call

Clinical Practice

Physicians manage a steady inpatient consult service while performing endoscopic procedures with full hospital support.

Typical workload includes:

• 5–8 inpatient consults per day
• 3-5 Colonoscopies
• 1-2advanced GI procedures

Compensation & Benefits

• $650,000 – $750,000 base compensation
