Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist Hospitalist in Valdosta, Georgia. This position offers a 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule exclusively at the Main Campus. Candidates must be board eligible/certified in gastroenterology and eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia. The role includes a strong compensation package, including a base salary and various benefits like health insurance and relocation assistance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, and experience with the EPIC electronic medical record is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology

• Must be able to perform ERCP, EUS recommended
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians to provide high quality patient care
• Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development and team building. Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record is a significant plus.
