Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in Lexington, NC is seeking an Engineering Technician 7 (Advanced) to lead process improvements and advanced troubleshooting across production lines. You will work with maintenance, production supervision, and corporate engineering to implement capital projects and ensure safety and quality.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, machine reliability, and the development of countermeasures, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 10 years of mechanical technician experience in an industrial setting (or BS degree + 5 years).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic Microsoft solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, VFD and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in process improvements and capital projects.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of equipment and downtime analysis.
• Develop preventative maintenance procedures and standard work for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with floor associates to address repeat machine issues and implement countermeasures.
• Support Lean initiatives using lean tools for production troubleshooting.
