Job summary

MasterBrand, Inc. in Lexington, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician 8 (Expert) to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment.

You will read blueprints, program PLCs, and perform preventive maintenance to sustain safety and quality. The role requires 10+ years in electro-mechanical techs, an associate degree or trade certs, and hands-on capability with VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC tools, and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of electro-mechanical technician experience in an industrial setting.
• Associate degree or formal trade certs in relevant fields; or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, VFD and PLC systems.
• Proficient with measuring devices and basic hand tools; able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with automation and AI applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret factory drawings and electrical prints for installations and repairs.
• Perform preventative, predictive and TPM tasks using CMMS and TPM cards.
• Operate and test CNC tooling and metalworking equipment to fabricate/repair parts.
• Ensure safety standards (LOTO, PPE) are followed and regulatory requirements met.
