Qualifications

• Master's of Science in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care on outpatient and/or inpatient services.
• Evaluate patients with health histories and physical exams.
• Order labs, imaging, and consultations; interpret results to form care plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per standard of care.
• Document care in medical records per policy and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Discuss care plans with specialists and other providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in performance improvement and teaching activities as applicable.
• Assist in research protocol preparation, implementation, and evaluation.
