Job summary

AMR is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients in the Raymore area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Kansas Advanced EMT certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license in good standing; driving record compliant with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care; deliver emergency medical services.
• Document patient information and treatment; maintain confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and stock supplies for patients.
• Provide care using appropriate AEMT skills, including communications and equipment.
• Operate ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with health and public safety personnel and fellow AEMTs/EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
