Job summary

Acadian Ambulance Service in Lucedale, Mississippi is seeking an EMT-Intermediate to provide pre-hospital care and safe patient transport.

You will examine patients, administer basic and intermediate life support within licensure, document care, maintain equipment, and follow protocols. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a valid state driver''s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National and/or State EMT-Intermediate certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid state driver''s license with ability to drive large vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and intermediate life support per protocols before/during transport.
• Examine patient and assist medical personnel as needed.
• Safely transport patient to medical facility and relay information.
• Complete EMS run reports and maintain equipment.
• Attend mandatory meetings and perform station duties.
