Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Advanced EMT certification in NC required within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of EMS procedures and standing orders.
• Experience with patient assessment and emergency treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies as part of a two-person EMS crew.
• Provide intermediate life support and emergency care during transport.
• Record patient information and treatment details for records and billing.
• Inspect and maintain EMS equipment and ambulance readiness.
• Participate in ongoing training and unit operations, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
