Job summary

McPherson Hospital Inc. seeks an EMT to provide direct patient care within scope, both independently and with a partner in pre-hospital and inter-facility transfers. You’ll assist in facility, equipment, and ambulance care while prioritizing tasks and maintaining high patient satisfaction.

This full-time role requires Kansas EMT certification, ACLS/PALS/BLS within 3 months, and strong teamwork across EMS and hospital staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Kansas Certified EMT at time of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS within 3 months of hire.
• NIMS/ISC 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Performs skills within EMT scope with compassionate care in emergent situations.
• Leads and supports partner to maintain an organized, safe scene.
• Handles independent work and prioritizes multiple tasks.
• Maintains professional image and communicates with EMS and hospital staff.
