Job summary

AMR is seeking Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and provide high-quality care and customer service in Roswell, GA.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, safety, and collaboration with public safety teams. Requires AEMT certification, CPR/BLS, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; on-site ambulance duties with standard EMS protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• National or State AEMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
