Job summary

The Gaston Group, LLC is seeking an experienced EMS professional to supervise and support countywide emergency medical services operations in Gaston County, NC. You will oversee patient transport, direct responders and ensure compliance with relevant protocols and regulations, while maintaining readiness and documentation.

Starting pay is competitive with night shift considerations and potential lateral-entry incentives for qualified personnel in public safety and health departments.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with EMT-Advanced or AEMT certificate.
Current PHTLS and CPR certifications.
Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points on record.
Experience and training in responding and controlling hazardous material incidents.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and technical medical support in EMS readiness for responders.
Coordinate response and transport of patients to medical facilities countywide.
Direct EMS personnel at or below EMT-Paramedic level during patient care.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, medical protocols and NCOEMS regulations.
Complete Patient Care Reports with accurate documentation.
Maintain unit readiness, cleanliness and supply levels at all times.
