Job summary

REMSA Health in Reno/Lake Tahoe area is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to be trained on our inter-facility transfer unit and in the 9-1-1 system. Eligible to apply for REMSA Health Paramedic Scholarships after one year of employment, with relocation assistance for experienced AEMTs.

We offer a transformed 4 day/10-hour schedule, comprehensive benefits, and an Education Center onsite to support EMS career growth.

Qualifications

• Current Nationally Registered Advanced EMT
• Willing to apply for reciprocity with Nevada or hold Nevada Advanced EMT Certification
• AHA CPR/BLS Provider
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Train on inter-facility transfer unit and in the 9-1-1 system as an AEMT.
• Provide prehospital and inter-facility care per protocol and maintain readiness for shift changes.
