Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a dedicated EMS AEMT to join our team of professionals in Georgia. You will participate in patient assessment and treatment under Georgia scope of practice, ensuring safe transport and ongoing patient monitoring.

Responsibilities include documenting care, maintaining ambulance readiness, and coordinating with CMED. This role requires strong teamwork and adherence to state EMS protocols and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must hold Georgia EMS AEMT certification.
• Active Georgia EMS license or permit to practice as an AEMT.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and administer treatment within the Georgia AEMT scope.
• Assist crew in lifting, packaging, moving, and transporting patients to ensure quality care.
• Provide safe and efficient transport while monitoring patient condition.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED and receive medical direction as needed.
• Complete required documentation before end of shift and ensure ambulance is stocked and clean.
