Job summary

Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore is offering an Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship designed to train the next leaders in emergency ultrasound. The fellow will gain advanced skills in ultrasound program administration, education, and research while practicing clinical emergency medicine.

Candidates must be board-eligible or certified from an accredited residency program, with prior experience in ultrasound preferred. The fellowship aims to prepare fellows for the ABEM Focus Practice Designation in advanced emergency ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Must be board-eligible or board-certified from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Clinical good standing required with experience in ultrasound preferred.
• Commitment to learning and research in advanced emergency ultrasound is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1000 ultrasound studies during the year.
• Teach point-of-care ultrasound to learners.
• Engage in scholarly activity including research projects.
• Practice emergency medicine for 800 hours during the fellowship year.
