Job summary

Ochsner Health’s Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a motivated academic emergency physician to serve as Program Director for our Advanced Emergency Ultrasonography Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and administration of the fellowship program, coordinating curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and clinical integration.
• Oversee comprehensive ultrasound education and resident rotations within the Emergency Medicine residency program.
• Collaborate with the existing emergency ultrasound division to integrate program activities with ongoing clinical and educational missions.
• Manage program logistics, including resource allocation for dedicated ultrasound machines, billing practices, quality assurance workflows, and procedural scope.
