Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)

Openings in multiple locations in Ohio including: Columbus, Springfield, Centerville, Mansfield, Toledo.

Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service, Inc. was established in 1959 and is now the largest independent, locally owned EMS provider in the Midwest. The company employs over 2,500 licensed EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses, operating more than 500 ambulances across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. It also offers Critical Care, helicopter, and fixed-wing emergency medical transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as per EMT training.
• Ensure safe transportation, including accurate map reading and address identification.
• Assess patients and communicate conditions effectively to medical professionals.
• Document patient conditions, medical history, and treatments accurately.
• Complete billing documentation.
• Maintain vehicle sanitation and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.

Qualifications

• EMT National Registry and/or current state license (or pending).
• Capability to provide medical care at EMT or Paramedic level during transport.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment physical, lifting exam, and drug screening.
• Attend company-provided training and driving courses.
