Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer - Electromechanical in Glendale, AZ to design, analyze, test, and support manufacturing of high-performance motors, tachometers, and resolvers for mission-critical space systems. You will work on flight-qualified hardware in demanding environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electromagnetic design for aerospace components.
• Ability to analyze and model electromagnetic performance of motors and sensors.
• Knowledge of aerospace design standards and documentation practices.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze motors, tachometers, resolvers, and other electromechanical devices used in aerospace and space applications.
• Perform electromagnetic design, modeling, analysis, and performance evaluations to support new product development and production programs.
• Review and approve electromagnetic design data packages and engineering documentation.
• Partner with suppliers to resolve technical issues, improve product performance, and support manufacturing readiness.
• Support procurement, qualification, testing, and troubleshooting activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and support product transition from development into production.
• Provide production support and collaborate with manufacturing teams to address design and process challenges.
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities and anomaly investigations.
• Develop engineering reports, technical documentation, and flight-program deliverables.
• Present technical findings and design solutions to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
