Job summary

Mercy Health seeks an Advanced Emergency Department Technician to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with vital signs, hygiene, mobility and basic wound care while documenting and communicating effectively with the care team.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and EMT training; BLS preferred. Expect fast-paced shifts and a strong focus on patient safety in the ED setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Advanced EMT (AEMT) program preferred.
• Active BLS certification preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Assist with vital signs, hygiene, mobility and comfort.
• Perform lab draws, ECGs, wound care and basic duties.
• CPR initiation and IV/site care as directed by RN.
• Document care accurately and report changes.
