Job summary

Nicklaushealth in Florida is seeking an Echo Technician to perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies, triage exams, and prepare patients. You will provide preliminary interpretations and present data to attending physicians, while maintaining and cleaning echo equipment per department standards.

The role requires registry eligibility, at least 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience, and an AHA BLS certification, with on-site duties and on-call coverage as part of the department.

Qualifications

• AS in Allied Health or certificate in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Eligible for ARDMS or CCI registry and pass within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of Cardiac Clinical Ultrasound experience or Pediatric internship.
• AHA BLS - current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, organize data and present findings to physicians.
• Perform 3D images for Maternal/Fetal program when needed.
• Collaborate with team and perform strains for electrophysiology.
• Perform TEE, cardiac TEE, epicardial and ICE scans per protocol.
