Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiographic examinations across age groups, from neonate to geriatric. You will prepare patients, run M-Mode, 2D, Color Flow and Doppler studies, and assist with TEE as needed, while ensuring accurate documentation for physician interpretation.

You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team, maintain safety standards, and support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced imaging department.

Qualifications

• AA, AS Degree or equivalent with primary science content
• Current Ultrasound registry required
• Registry within one year of hire date with CCI or RDMS
• Current Basic Life Support certification by American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely.
• Perform M-Mode, 2D, Color Flow and Doppler echocardiograms; assist with TEE.
• Maintain, compile, calculate and prepare findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
• Obtain high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Communicate findings and histories with radiologist and team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the healthcare team.
