Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY sales and service functions. The role requires strong parts knowledge, installation skills, and the ability to operate POS and inventory systems.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
