Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customers with deep store systems knowledge, parts identification, and troubleshooting. The role includes sourcing from multiple channels and providing expert assistance for DIY projects.

The position is full-time, requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, and a valid driver's license. ASE certification is preferred. Flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends is expected to meet store goals.

Qualifications

3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
ASE certification preferred but not required.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to read parts catalogs and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
