Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and advanced store operations. The role requires strong parts lookup skills, ASE readiness, and the ability to perform DIY services like battery testing and installations.

The position is full-time, on-site, with responsibilities spanning sales, customer service, and inventory management to ensure a well-maintained, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, parking lot.
• Offer DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
