Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) in Florida to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, refuse vehicles, trailers, and related equipment.

You will work with Master Technicians, perform preventive maintenance, and help maximize equipment uptime. The role requires 1+ year of diesel maintenance experience, a valid license, and a basic toolset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must provide and maintain a basic set of professional tools.
• ASE certifications, Brake Certification, Class A CDL, and bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, steering, suspension, transmissions, and air brake systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections to maximize reliability of trucks and equipment.
• Repair and maintain refuse trucks, vocational vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify failures.
• Weld, fabricate, and perform component repairs when qualified.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
