Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography.
• RDMS or registry eligible within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: 2 years of sonographer experience.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment and assists radiologists in procedures.
• Reviews patient images prior to transmission for diagnostic quality.
• Maintains quality control procedures and regulatory compliance.
