Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography.
• RDMS or registry eligible within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete examinations per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Assists radiologists in guided procedures in various settings.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality and supports department operations.
