The role involves patient assessment, medications, airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and ventilator weaning, along with documentation, safety protocols, and collaboration with the care team. Mentoring staff and participating in quality initiatives are also expected.

Qualificações

• Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC-RRT credential and active BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and support systems; mentor new staff and students.
• Participate in performance improvement projects and promote evidence-based practices.
• Documentation, safety protocols, and quality initiatives.
