Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT or RCP license.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and relationship-building skills; computer proficiency.
• Preferred education includes an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory care and medications in critical care settings.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
• Ventilator management, airway management, ABG sampling, and pulmonary diagnostics.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and implement care strategies.
• Mentor and precept new staff and students; participate in quality assurance activities.
• Maintain documentation accuracy and promote safety and evidence-based practice.
