Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver complex respiratory care in critical settings. You will assess patients, administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform ABG sampling while collaborating with the care team.

Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC-RRT and BLS/ACLS certifications, and 0–2 years in clinical practice, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, ACLS.
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, verify orders, and administer aerosolized medications, oxygen, and gas therapies.
• Manage ventilators, including weaning, waveform interpretation, and airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care).
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educate patients and support system, mentor new staff and students, and participate in staff development activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and provide high-quality, safe patient care.
• Promote performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and a safe environment.
• Ensure accurate documentation, electronic order management, and compliance with policies.
