Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; heat transfer specialization preferred or 10 years of experience.
• Product knowledge of heat exchangers (aluminum bar & plate, shell & tube, or plate) with refrigeration focus.
• Expert level SolidWorks CAD knowledge.
• Ability to set up automated 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Automated 2D print generation capabilities.
• New product development processes and procedures.
• Collaborative, analytical, solution-focused mindset.

Responsabilités

• Create new parts in ERP, manage BOMs, and generate 3D models and 2D prints for production and customer approval.
• Develop/execute simulations for heat exchanger design.
• Collaborate with Application and Manufacturing Engineering to advance next-gen cooling equipment.
• Develop and manage product assemblies with integrated heat exchanger designs.
• Assist engineers in detailing standard costs of product designs.
• Support manufacturing by updating BOMs, fixing part data and drawings, and providing drawings as needed.
• Author and distribute technical documents as required.
• Validate team outputs and analyze results to produce world-class products.
• Collaborate to define project scope, costs, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Contribute to special projects and provide technical leadership.
• Stay current on industry trends in heat exchanger technology.
• Collect and share technology, market, and competitor information.
