Job summary

Hera Technologies, LLC is seeking a Processing Technician to join a hands-on manufacturing team. The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of composite experience, strong skills in bonding and prepreg lay-up, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on customer sites. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of composite experience.
• Experience with structural bonding and fastening of composite assemblies, including surface preparation for bonding TPS.
• Experience with hand lay-up of prepreg materials (Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass, Phenolic, honeycomb core and Rohacell foam).
• Laser projection experience.
• Must be able to work in control ventilated environments with mask and protection gear.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of basic prep and keeping a clean job site.
• Quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Ability to learn to perform cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
• Cut and trim composite parts to close tolerances.
• Bond and fasten composites; prepare bonding surfaces.
• Follow work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and secure equipment.
• Inspect work for high quality.
• Maintain attention to detail at customer sites.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulations.
• Support 5-S and cross-functional operations.
