Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with three to five years of credit or Business Banking underwriting experience.
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts and accounting principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail and planning.
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
• Experience with MS Office and internet resources; team-oriented approach.

Responsabilités

• Performs financial analysis and risk assessment for the commercial credit portfolio within Business Banking, Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, or Specialty Commercial lines. Focus on new business and larger/complex renewals.
• Reviews loan applications and analyzes credit information to assess creditworthiness and conformity with lending policy; collaborates with Sales and Credit teams.
• Works with relationship managers and portfolio managers during underwriting, including discussions with clients on credit questions.
• Performs financial statement spreads and covenant testing for existing clients not assigned to credit portfolio analyst.
• Completes accurate Credit Memos for presentation to credit authorities for decision-making on new loan requests, renewals, and modifications; provides commentary in memos.
• Assists in management of workflow and assigned credits.
• Attends local/regional meetings.
