Job summary

Dynabrade, Inc. in Tonawanda, NY is seeking an Advanced CNC Machine Setup Operator to ensure machines are properly configured, operating safely, and aligned with quality standards.

You will work on Lathe, Swiss Lathe, Grinders and/or Mill CNC machines, read blueprints, set up tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. Experience with FANUC controls and 4th axis is valued; the role requires meticulous attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience required.
• Knowledge of FANUC controls.
• Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus.
• Able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints.
• Must be able to set up CNC machinery with minimal supervision.
• 5 years minimum experience in a related role.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tools according to instructions, specifications and/or blueprints.
• Examines blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to ensure proper setup sequence.
• Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machinery.
• Ability to set up and adjust bar loaders.
• Verifies measuring equipment are in proper working order.
• Set up tools and machinery for individual projects.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area.
• Other related duties as assigned.
