Job summary

A defense contracting company in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Machinist to support defense programs by programming and operating CNC equipment for prototype components. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in CNC programming, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling, along with an active DoD Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include developing CNC programs, fabricating precision parts, and working within a small design team to iterate prototype designs. Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance or one that was active within 24 months prior to hire.
• Expertise in CNC programming and fabrication.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs.
• Fabricate precision prototype parts from CAD models.
• Conduct first-article inspections and quality checks.
