Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• 3–5 years' experience setting up, programming, editing and operating CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Experience machining metals (aluminum, stainless steel) and other materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Machine model components using CNC and manual mills and lathes.
• Program, setup, and operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines.
• Hand-finish parts and perform contouring and polishing as required.
• Collaborate with design engineers and advise on machining approaches.
• Read CAD/CAM drawings and tolerance schemes, including GD&T.
