Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• 1 year PGY2 Pharmacy Specialty Residency; OR PGY1 Pharmacy Residency PLUS 2 years of relevant experience; OR 5 years of relevant experience without residency.
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles for monitoring and dosing medications.
• RP - Registered Pharmacist - State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the distribution of medications within the assigned area.
• Identifies, prevents, and resolves drug therapy problems to ensure medication effectiveness, safety, and convenience.
• Trains pharmacy technicians, residents, students, and new pharmacists as assigned; precepts student pharmacists and residents.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson values; ensures policy compliance and quality of services.
